Title: WANTED: Speakers $150 and under

Hi guys,

I have a friend who is looking for some speakers for his living room, he is primarily into hard rock/classic metal.  He is a musician so he has a decent ear, but doesn't need anything insanely high end.  He wants to stay under $150.  I was thinking Cerwin Vegas, but not solely looking for this brand.. Anyone have something for sale that would fit his needs?  Thanks a lot

I have a pair of VS-120's I want to sell. 

Was going to ask $200 though.

Does he need pounding bass?   If not, I have a pair of EPI 180s I was just getting ready to refoam.   I also have a pair of EPI 100s that I could have ready to go tomorrow, just need a driver swap.   Those have the original boxes.

They would be $125 and $60, respectively.

I'm pretty sure he would want something more bass dominant.  EPI's are cool I have M-201's.  I am going to have to talk with him tonight or tomorrow and see exactly what he is looking for.  Sorry for not being able to be more specific

I haven't heard the 180s yet, but with dual 8"s, I don't imagine they will be thin, just not heavy.

Might want to look for a pair of NHTs. Even the SuperOnes have a big sound and go down below 40htz just a thought

There is always the Large Advent, which depending on condition and cabinet can be found for $150/pair.
