Title: BBE Sonic Maximizer + Old Recordings = Good
Post by: OldiesButGoodies on April 10, 2016, 05:47:54 PM
Using the BBE to give custom tweaks to old recordings played on the 707.  Makes a positive difference for old recordings,  and you can push "out" when listening to good recordings.  For the $20 that you can get a Sonic Maximizer used,  it is a good deal, IMO.

A little boost to the bass,  a little to treble for clarity as needed...   Works better than regular tone controls IMO.
