Title: More new to me speakers.
Post by: Falcon on August 13, 2010, 11:31:41 PM
Just added a pair of JBL 4410 studio monitors. A pretty nice pair that sounds really good. 10" woofs, 5" mids, and a 1" dome tweeter. These use the only JBL tweeters that I can enjoy listening to. They are the model # 035 Tia. All the other JBL tweeters sound crappy and bright I.M.O.
The previous owner had big bolt holes drilled in the side to hang them on the wall... I will fill them in with dowel rods and glue, then sand and stain, should look real good when done. The rest is in really nice shape.
I fired them up with a 255 w.p.c. Hafler power amp, then a 35 w.p.c. Dynaco tube amp. They performed very well with both amps. Of course I will be selling them very soon, or maybe trade them  if someone wants to. Here is a pic from the net, my camera is broke...

I'm not good with JBL chronology. I didn't know where / when these would fit in.

Are these the big / little brothers of the 4412 / 4408?
