Just noticed this was on sale at VANNs.

Looking at the specs of the J type series I would not buy for high end audio.  Would be good for video and computers.

Waveform Type Stepped approximation to a sinewave

You should look for power conditioners that are a full sinewave.  They normally start near the $1k mark.

I think the H series work better for audio and home theater.  I have both the H10 and H15 and they work very well.  I think the H10 was a stereophile recommended component.
