There's no way I'll make this one. It's the old lady's birthday. We'll be getting shitfaced at the casino.

Good meeting last night.  Although I strongly disagree with the way the pizza order was handled (or not handled,  to be more precise).  Ed and I noticed some pig sodomy action by the shelves,  there has to be something wrong with that.  Other than that, great meeting.  Nick:  the home-made-by-the-butcher beef jerky kept me alive  while Tom purposely delayed ordering the pizza - thanks! Will report on the Sansui Au-G90x later this week.

Cool meeting. Somehow turntables became the theme.
Don  Lindich  stopped by with an Audio Technica lp-120 turntable that he recently obtained.

Follow on to his blog article (http://www.soundadviceblog.com/reviews/audio-technica-at-lp120-usb-turntable-a-real-find-at-200/) for his detailed review on it.

Quite a good value for the money. However, I was amazed when Tom changed the stock cart.
The improvement was extremely nolticeable.

Another gentleman named Andy also brought in a B&O tt that he got but was having trouble with it. Upon inspection of the mmc5 cart, we found that the needle was slightly bent.

Tom swapped in his prized mmc1 to confirm, and all was well with it!
Now that he knows the tt is ok, Andy is on a mission to get a replacement cart.
