Probably need to remove the earpads. My guess is there are 4 screws under them that hold the baffle to which the driver is mounted in the earcup.

Posted TOO quickly... After a more extensive viewing, I was able to see screw shafts inside the headphones... So I removed the ear pads and removed the screws... So now I can check the wiring and driver elements for repair/replacement...
Thanks for the moral help! ;)

:(
One driver element is bad (open)...
Worth replacing? Where can I get economical akg driver element?
Or just pitch?
TIA,
George

Did a Google search and saw comments that they coast more to repair than they are worth. That was just some random person's opinion though. You might be able to find another one that has only one driver working for a good price.

bmwr75,
that was my thought too, "possibly" finding another with one bad/one good driver element for cheap...
Well, guess I'll store these for a while! ;)
thanks again,
George
