Title: happy now, tom?
Post by: bearjew on February 09, 2013, 01:20:40 PM
I, the bear jew, finally have joined the forum.  Apparently everyone in this section posts what they're running, so yeah:

I have a modified C-1 and an M-500 powering my modified AL-III's.  I also have a Dual 1219, but I don't like to talk about it.

Welcome infidel!

I'd suggest you update your signature to list your system details.

Nice setup!

I see some KRK's, a nice Thermaltake Level 10 case and some other fun goodies!

Could this be the 1219 you were telling me about last Saturday at the shop?  :D

Haha the ribbon was replaced, the crossover was tinkered with, and the driver was replaced with a JL.

Ed, i'm building a pair of modified AL3's with RE Audio subs.  We'll see how they do against the JL's.

Should be good. There are a thousand options for a woofer in those things. Someone should try the new Daytons... they look pretty impressive. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=295-510 (http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=295-510)
