Title: CARVERaudio interconnects have arrived.
Post by: OCCD on December 29, 2009, 09:24:42 PM: Coming soon. Eight pairs of 1 meter interconnects fresh off the assembly line from CARVERaudio. These cables are a must try. ;) Yes,Toy Maker got off his ass. ::) The production line is in operation.

Yes, custom sets will not be problem. I got you covered Bill. He made Bob a custom set down at the fest last year.

They are also directional.

I will be comparing them to MIT, Purist Audio Design, Tara Labs, and Canary today.

Post by: confused on January 10, 2010, 01:54:14 PM: Found them. They look like high quality stuff! But, I have always wondered why or how electrons know or care about direction thru a wire. Any explanations out there?

With MIT, I could sort of see, that depending on what's in the box, direction could matter.

Just to help everyone understand the "directional" design of the wires...

Directional wires have an additional shield inside of them...
that is grounded at one end only, to help reduce any outside interference.

Directional wires are supposed to be connected with the "grounded" end being connected to the "source"
So you would connect the grounded end to your CD player output.. the next set, you'd connect the grounded end to the amp output, and so on.
