Title: Where can I get a case like the Jolida 1000?
Post by: Sir Thrift-a-Lot on July 23, 2014, 11:46:34 PM: I have a Leak amp that I have been looking for a way to safely use and display with my autistic son who has impulse control issues. I have feared him either a) burning himself on a tube or b) breaking one or more of my Mullards.

I was at Vintage HiFi the other day and saw Tom working on a Jolida 1000. The way it is designed protects the tubes and allows them to be seen. It also provides for adequate ventilation. So I got to thinking that perhaps I could find a similar case from a computer server or something else that I could repurpose as a case for my Leak Stereo 20. Any ideas? TIA.

Maybe it's just me, but that's not something I would say to a person who's help I may need one day.
