Carverfest is upon us once again. I remember the fist time I went and wondered what it would be like. It's gotten better every year! Who's on board for the fun and festivities this year?

where is this event being held? I went to the carver webpage to try to find some info but trying to navigate that abomination is beyond me. A search for the "Carverfest 2014" at the carver website links to a thread with the newest post that is four months old.

You don't have to go for the entire time, but you won't get to pick your cabin either.
I went in '08 and '09 when it was only a 5 day event. That wasn't too bad, maybe a day too long. Anyway, the next year it went to 10 days (now 14) and there was no effing way I was staying that long, so they took away my cabin, the one I reserved in my name for 2 years running. Sure I could stay somewhere else, but I picked that cabin for a few damn good reasons and none of the others are quite like it. That left a bad taste in my mouth so to speak and I haven't been back.

I'll probably be bringing a guitar just for shits and giggles. I'll be getting in around 11pm or midnight. My boss is a tard and wouldn't let me work Friday and take of Sunday, so I work til 3, then we're hitting the road.
