Title: WTB or trade for silver face preamp

I am looking for a high end silver (preferably dark silver) preamp, vintage or current.  No Chinese made pieces, USA, Europe or Japan only.  Premium for a Luxman piece (I really want a CL-32), Forte or Threshold.  I have quite a few quality pieces to trade or I know cash is king.

I might be interested in non-silver faced pieces, let me know what you have, right now I am using an Adcom gtp400 and its killing my soul.

Glad you found one.   What didn't you like about the Adcom?   I've heard they are supposed to be pretty good.   Are you interested in getting rid of it?   I would like to check it out.

I had it hooked up to a 180 wpc amp, it did not control its power well.  I also felt the mids and highs were harsh.  I was using a classe previously and could easily use more of the amps power without fatigue. The classe and adcom are both sold.  I picked up a pioneer elite c-72 and a D.V.O. Definitive  (high end passive preamp with tube phono stage).  I am currently satisfied with the pioneer and i need to finish cleaning and testing the dvo before i plug that one in.  The only cheap preamp i have is a b&k avp2000, if you're interested.
