Title: Speakerlab 6
Post by: non-prophet on July 23, 2016, 12:39:09 PM
Today's score, a pair of Speakerlab 6 speakers.  Not much information on these, consecutive serial numbers, butyl surrounds on the woofers, horn mids and highs.  Not exactly sure when they are from but they were around $550 new, in kit form.  Like anything, they can be bought or traded for if anyone wants them.  I do have the grilles.

Big sealed box and horns.   Did you try them with SETs?

I really wish I would have kept all of my old Speakerlab catalogs.  I learned an awful lot reading them.
But please do try them with a SET amp.

I just noticed the fly points.   Did they come out of a sound reinforcement situation?

Yes...I've seen that site. I just wish I held on to my copies. Call me nostalgic but I miss those early hi-fi companies. The DIY dynaco, Heathkit's, etc.

Good luck with the sale.
