Title: Hartley 300a
Post by: GWH on April 07, 2017, 09:23:20 PM
Does anyone have any information on these speakers? I can not find much more then they are 4 ohm. Any information or first hand experience would be appreciated. Thanks!

I used to sell these when I worked in a hifi shop here in Pittsburgh in the 70s. The tweeter is made by Philips. I believe the crossover is just a coil and a bipolar electrolytic cap that should be changed to a film cap. They were really nice speakers at the time.

Hey Ron,
Which shop did you work in back in the day? You probably told me but I don't remember.

A few. Cameradio, Soundpiper, and Audio Warehouse.

Cameradio is where I bought my Marantz 2325, JBL L100's, and I think Thorens TD-160. I bought a good bit of stuff from the Listening Post too.
