I have a 981.   Oppo seems to be the forum favorite.

Oppo 83.  May move a 203 next just to gain the ability to play blurays ripped to MKV through USB,  but planning on staying in Oppo world.

I can also play SACDs on my Mac cd player in 2 channel

I've got an Oppo 980, the most use it gets is for kiddie dvd's. Don't believe it's been on since last winter.
