My son is a big fan.   I don't have the patience, but enjoy him enjoying it.   When I want to aggravate myself with little fiddly bits I get out the soldering iron.   An hour of that cures me for about a month.

I am a member of the TCA (Train Collectors Association).  We have swap meets occasionally and if you and your son are interested, I will be more than happy to have you join me the next time we get together.  It's a bunch of grown men playing with our toys.

Cool.   We go to swap shows with Elijah on occasion.   That sounds like he would really enjoy it.
