Title: Hello
Post by: Dart67eb on December 13, 2021, 05:52:18 PM
I am a 60 yr old guy that is working on a Yamaha AX-900 that fried when my son had beer or some type of alcohol spilled on it at college.   I'm down to it only frying one resistor when I turn it on.  I think I know which cap is shorted and causing it.  I also have a Nakamichi upstairs that I need to fix.  I'm a mechanic by trade but this is the first time I've opened up audio equipment.  I'm here to learn.  Thanks!

Welcome onboard!
Do you have a DMM and do you know how to use it?
Could you take a picture of the circuit board from the top?
