Title: Speaker enclosure tweak...
Post by: OldiesButGoodies on July 10, 2010, 11:09:06 PM
This is a tweak I applied to my Paradigm Studio 20s with good results several years back.  Get some play yard sand form the hardware store and mix it with white glue to form a thick paste.  Apply the paste to the interior of the speaker cabinet and let it dry overnight.  It can get pretty messy,  wear gloves and try to keep the thickness reasonably constant. The enclosure rigidity will increase significantly as a result.

Some people use modeling clay and even put it on the speaker magnet basket etc.  Sequerra did this to his woofers.
