Thank you for the warm welcome.

My name is Tom and I have a problem.  You see it all started over a year ago when I bought my first Carver audio system.  I just can't seem to stop buying and collecting bigger and better audio equipment.  I realize that this is a problem and I need help. ;D

Hello all,

Just joined and hope to get to know every one.  I have been a slve to the audio bug for more years than I care to recall.  I have multiple systems connected and disconnected at various times.  Reecently I got hooked on vintage tube stuff (Scott, Heathkit, Fisher). but started life in the solid state camp.
I think my biggest weakness is speakers.  My collection includes Infinty kappa and quantum, Polk sda and ls70, DQ10, Jubals, Advents out the ying yang, KG4, Soundspan from bic, Maggies, etc.
Solid state equipment includes Phase linear, GAS, Yamaha, Marantz, etc.

My connected systems at the moment are:

1.  Fisher 800c driving some scandinavian speakers (Ruark)
2.  GAS Son of ampzilla driving 8 Kappas
3.  HH Scott driving the soundspans.
4.  Phase linear/qsc biamping 9 kappas

A lot of stuff is not hooked up at the moment.  I might be interested in trading or selling some of my unused stuff, if anyone is interested.
Thanks.

Dale

Hello all and Eric,

Hows the klhs doing?  Thanks for all the replys.  Look forward to future discussions with everyone via internet and hopefully at a meeting in person soon!

If you ever get to the eastern burbs, call me and we will meet for coffee, or better yet I will make some coffee and we will listen to some old gear together.  Email me for phone number.

THX,

Dale

PS:  Just picked up 6 Kappas to join the 7's and 9's!  These seem to me to be the sweet spot in the lineup.

Hey Dale
The 17s are doing well. If fact, I just successfully recaped them and they are now part of my bedroom system.
Any luck sliming down that collection of yours?
Eric
