Title: Scott PS-67A SOLD SOLD SOLD
Post by: Falcon on December 02, 2009, 04:38:56 PM: I have a Scott PS-67A direct drive turntable for just twenty bucks.. It appears to work good, the stylus is busted and I have no way to test for certain. But, the speed seems correct, the auto return works, the hinges hold up the dust cover, the cover is a little scratched up and has no cracks.
My camera is not that good, table is not yellow like it appears in the pic. I am in Natrona Heights and can meet nearby.

The cart's nothing to write home about but it'll be ok for testing.

Thanks for the offer Paden, I hope someone just snags it for 20.00, if not I will probably by the stylus on epay... I do not even have any vinyl anyway, and dont want any.. that is why I just want it gone, and I have to many projects going to mess with it. It is a pretty decent table, as well made as any Pioneer, or Sony, Technics of the era..

I know my Father in law has a Scott tube int-amp from long ago that's still kicking and still sounds great. My grandmother in law also has a Scott SS Hifi console, with a tuner, turntable, etc that still works. (of course the thing's like furniture as much as it's a stereo, but that's a different story). From the look of it, that table has just as good of an arm and head on it as any Pioneer/Technics, etc. from that era too.

The only thing I don't agree with is that you have too many projects to mess with. We all know that's not possible! 8)
