She's a beauty, eh?
« on: January 19, 2011, 06:52:13 PM »
I picked this up locally a few days ago.  Everything works, the faceplate/body is in awesome shape.  The knobs have spots and polishing won't fix them, i'll have to figure out what to do.  The plan is to hook it up tonight and play some vinyl through it.

Velly Velly Nice! It would look great with a PL 400
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Cleaned up the knobs to a point but could still use some work.  Checked all the inputs/outputs/knobs/switches and lamps and they all work perfectly!  I did not pop the top.  Sounds good but I'm not going to keep it.  Just posted it on ebay, will sell locally for $225.

That reminded me that I haven't plugged in my C-4000 in a while.  Damn, that thing sounds good.
