Sydney Harman 1918 to 2011
« on: April 15, 2011, 01:00:45 PM »
I can't think of anyone who has had more of an impact on the audio industry than Sydney Harman.

"Sidney Harman, the stereo equipment tycoon who bought floundering Newsweek last year, died at 92. He is survived by his wife, ex-U.S. Rep. Jane Harman."

"Sidney Harman died last night of complications from acute myeloid leukemia at the young age of almost 93. He first learned of his illness one month ago and remained vigorously engaged as Executive Chairman of Newsweek, and Chairman of the Academy for Polymathic Study at the University of Southern California."

Thanks Sydney ... RIP  :'(
