Denon DCD 1520
« on: February 09, 2011, 07:27:34 PM »
My DCD 1520 just started to have a hard time reading cds. Once it gets the cd read it plays fine, but sometimes I have to reload the cd a couple times to get it to play. This just started happening in the last couple days. Is there an adjustment for the laser or could it be something else? It's an old deck, so I'm aware it could just be on the conveyor heading to the vintage hifi scrapyard. Any ideas are appreciated.
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

I have one, but it's in german, and it's too large of a file to post. I could probably e-mail it to you if you want it.
