Philips power amps and CD player.
« on: February 24, 2011, 07:25:39 PM »
Here are a couple pics of my new to me Philips power amps. After a solving a few issues with them I have 2 of the 3 I just got up and running.  I have 2 of the silver face ones and 1 black one.  I think the black one looks better, and although they are both rare, the black one is very rare..  The silver ones are model 578, and the black is 5781.  They are 210 watts per channel. I am running them vertically bi-amped on my Infinity Deltas. The sound is superb!!
Also is a pic with my new to me modded Philips CD-80,  this one is simply amazing.  Looks,, sound, build quality, everything I want in a CD player.  And this one is Mint. ;D

Enjoy the pics, and no laughing!!

These amps are fantastic they have nice detailed highs, deep powerful bass, and endless power. Also the CD-80 is a fantastic CD Player.

Ron

any time you are in the Natrona Heights area, let me know.  You have an open invitation.  I was going to take one to one of the meetings, but they are just to freaking heavy!!!
