Hey guys.......Wow I didn't realize Tom had a forum!  Thanks for the heads up Rainman.... ;D.....so a little about me......I've been a Union Commercial Carpenter for about 20 years now....I build high-rises in Chicago.....been interested in home audio since about the 8th grade......bitten by the Carver bug early on in 1988....always wanted a Carver system and lo and behold I finally have it......I'm running all Carver separates with LINN speakers......some of the things that take up my spare time is the NHRA, NHL and fly-fishing......newly married for the first time and gained 3 step-kids!  ??? ??? ???.......I met Rainman by chance when I sold him my first 2 pieces of Carver gear and we've been best buds ever since....Thanks Tom...I'm looking forward to getting to know the whole bunch of you guys....

Welcome! I am actually moving to Chicago in the next few months. Might have to grab a beer and catch a Pens (or Blackhawks) game sometime. What part of town do you live in?
