SVS 16-46 PC-Plus
« on: July 31, 2011, 02:34:25 PM »
Ok, so he dropped the price down to $250 on this sub and I am picking it up tomorrow..  After reading reviews I hear it EXCELS on the deep lows but doesn't do great on the mids.  I am ideally going to get some good tower speakers in the near future to cover the mid lows.  I have an HSU STF-1.  I listen to music probably 60% and watch movies 40%.  I miss the deep lows using my STF-1 during movies and can't hear certain notes I remember in my classical.  It drives me nuts.  That is why I am picking up the SVS 16-46 plus.  The question I have is should I try to run these two subs together for now?  How would I do that?  If I were to pick up a pair of Mirage 890is, would that integrate well? Would the bass be musical?

Thanks guys!
