Warren Zevon, or maybe some of Harry Neilson seem to suit death.  I am sure there are others.

Oh, this is an easy one for me. Little Feat's "Waiting for Columbus" album, Mo-Fi edition. Maybe the audio Gods would grant me the extra time to complete the album because they can recognize a great concert when they hear one.

Ooooooooh yeah, Little Feat Live baby!!! I would die a happy man.
