Sunfire TGP V and speakers for sale CRM & CRS
« on: September 21, 2011, 04:00:34 PM »
For Sale:

Time to pare some equipment down. I was building a system for a basement HT set up. Since my new house doesn’t have a basement, it’s looking like I won’t need this stuff. Also  have the PS Audio power generator which I really don’t need and a pair of Cain and Cain full range speakers that aren’t getting used.

Sunfire TGP V No Remote  $ 850 ( I may have it in a box somewhere, $ 950 with remote if I have to find it)
CRS 3 (pair)  $ 850
CRS 3c (single) $ 650
CRM 2 (pair) No Grills  $ 550
CRM 2 (pair) I think new in box opened once $ 850
PS Audio PS 600  $ 750 plan on $ 80 bucks to ship this
Cain & Cain Abbeys Speakers $ 825 ( Beautiful Full range speakers  they just can’t find a way back into the rotation) no shipping -pickup DC area

I can take paypal and  the prices don’t include shipping. I think the pricing should be decent but let me know if I need to make adjustments. I priced them for what I paid mostly

Thanks

Only thing left is the pair of CRM2s - $850 shipped - obo. They are near mint, they have been un-boxed twice for pictures, once when I bought them a year ago and now,  and tested once

Yeah Nick, what's the deal? You're holding everyone up. I can't get my second DAC from Pete until OBG buys these speakers.  ;D

OBG, if this works I'll knock $100 off for you  ;)

Need to strategize this with Nick - will get back to you.  The CRM-2s have high SAF and could improve my love life - that is *always* was a good thing.  And now that I have the Fuhrman doing the EQ between the TGP and the 300x2 I can fine tune the high pass to within a millimeter of what the CRMs want/need.  And I would finally get to hear the claimed advantages of ribbons.  And maybe I could use this as an excuse to replace my arc welder that went kaput last time I used it to build custom steel stands (why pay $200 for a pair of good professionally built used stands when I an build a pair of crappy ones myself by spending $600 in tools that I use once a year?).

Now I need to go do some work - tough week ahead, I rarely work on Sunday.

Cheers,

OBG
