I would love to get my hands on one of these. If you happen to cross one in your hifi endeavors, please keep me in mind :D

I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Hey Slim, an old thread but that is my pic of a YP-D10 I owned. Someone had painted a room but didn't respect this fine old table enough to cover it so it had paint droplets all over it and the dust cover. As I recall it was missing some counterweights that took a while to find. I had a 440MLa cartridge on it. I sold it to a good friend who had vinyl but nothing to play it with. Sadly these are usually priced high when you find one in very good condition.

My dad has one, and he let me know in a loving, fatherly way that the only way it will be in my possession will be after I pry it from his cold, dead hands. It's built like a tank and has a great arm. He had Tom at the shop rewire it and add rca plugs and iec cord jack. He's always run a Shure V15-IV on it, and recently picked up a Jico SAS stylus. I've always loved the table, and would love to own one one day

Well I wish pops a long life! I lost my dad over twenty years ago.

I didn't use it much as it was in my basement Yamaha retro system. The fellow that has it now will wear out that 440MLa stylus in another month or two.

Wow! That thing looks awesome. I don't even want to know what they are selling for... That's if you could even find one for sale!

What's your price?
I spotted a PX-3 without a cart for $250... Thoughts??

No thoughts off-hand.  I've been off vinyl for a long while.  Cleaning up the storage on the weekend and found this.  It's a beaut.  Make me an offer.
