Carver Booty
« on: January 27, 2012, 09:32:30 AM »
Carver booty, sorry for the crappy cell phone photos.  Frank brought in (2)4.0t's (2)1.5t's (2)C-1's (2)TX-11's (1)PM 1.5 and I think a TL-3100 and a receiver I didn't catch the model of.  The last pic is of one of the 4.0t's hooked directly into a teac reel to reel pumped through the altecs.  Not surprisingly, the meters on the 4.0t's didn't even move.

Altecs are there on consignment. Frank said he has 86 PM 1.5 amps in service!!!! That's among many others. He's take the throne as carver king for sure!
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Oh I see. It didn't occur to me that you might have an affliction. :D

Well, the last I heard the owner was considering selling the speakers separately, and put just the cabinets in storage.
