I am loving Sunfire amps!

I know you miss your Sunfire 300~2.  You can visit it at CF this year.  BTW, don't you have a Sunfire 400x5 and a set of Bob Carver custom KT88 tube amps?  Wow...with those amps that you have and you are missing the Sunfire 300~2.  Must be a good amp! 8)

OK Tom,

I will come clean, yes I do have a Sunfire Cinema Grand Signature Series II 425 x 5 and my new toys Bob Carver custom KT88 amps, soon the be upgraded to KT88z tubes.

Well I drove my speakers again over the weekend till I blew out all 4 fuses in my ALIII's.   :o That is two 250v 4a slow blow fuses.  :o

I had it cranked up pretty good on Friday night and then everything went silent.  Freaked me out a bit till I figured that I just popped $4 worth of fuses and not something that would cost me a lot more $$$.

Tom.

I was not going to bring my Sunfire 425 x 5 to CF10
But I think I should bring it down, only so you can play ;D run bi-amped it's so good.
When I crank it up, I get letters from the city, telling me I am breaking a noise by-law. (*uckin neighbours)

Let me know if you want me to bring it. I AM STILL BRINGING MY BOB's 180's

Here's the definition of a joule: The amount of work done by one coulomb flowing through a potential difference of one volt.

So how many joules were your amps pushing the night you fried those fuses?
In watts it had to be 1000watts continuous to blow 250v 4a SLOW BLOW fuses.
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.
