Do you guys work on PA amps?
« on: April 18, 2013, 10:04:32 AM »
I have (actually my church has) a couple QSC amps that need some attention.   Thanks.

So, do you?   If not, is there anyone in particular who you recommend?

Do they run on holy water or something?  :)

Seriously, Is there something special that gives you doubt?
Otherwise, I'm sure they are capable.

Mark, who are you addressing your question to?  The shop?  Why would you not just call Tom?

From the web site...

We provide repair, refurbishing, and upgrade service for all types of home audio gear from vintage tube to solid state.

The word "home" is what gave me pause.   Really, it is a very simple question.   I thought the answer would be "yes" or "no".

I could call, but have had very busy days lately.   You'll notice that these posts were made well after hours.

If it's after hours then I would email the shop.  The forum and shop are two separate entities.

To answer your question, yes, they can repair pro gear.

I promise that I didn't intend some sort of breach of etiquette.   I just figured this was their board and they would answer the question.   Sorry.

No sweat Mark. just pulling your leg.

Tom doesn't watch the forum boards much.
He's more active  on the Shout box.

I'll see him one day next week to pick up the speaker that Pepe left for me.   I guess I'll bring the amp just in case.
