Very entertaining

Joscho Stephan Trio Richard Smith Sweet Georgia Brown360p H 264 AAC)

Being a bit of a newbie, I apologize in advance if this goes against forum etiquette.

The bottom line here is, this will sound pretty good on your systems, even though, it is a pretty shitty recording.

His name is Richard smith.
In my opinion, he is the greatest guitarist that ever lived. I'm sorry if I've touched a few nerves. This is a sensitive topic. Don't anyone freak out.

Just check out his cadence, for it is un-yealding., his technique, well to me, it is that of a metronome.

Judge for yourself.  The video sucks but the necessary elements that bring out Richard Smith's raw talent is stated well in the audio track

Let me know what you think.
More to come if you allow it...

Very nice, but that tag of "greatest ever" is hard to put on someone.   Check these guys, even in the later stages of life.   They may have something to say on the subject.

ReachAround Steve is the best guitar player?   ???

The best guitarists i've ever seen live is a toss up between Al DiMeola and Mike Stern.

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear

Joscho Stephan & Richard Smith: Lover come back to me

I hope this clarifies things a bit more.
He's the heavy-set guy in red, stage left (even)

Ive always though that Rik Emmett of Triumph was a really good guitarist.  Never really gotten some of the credit as others, as they were in the shadow of RUSH as far as Canadian bands go.

He is definitely a huge talent, and prides himself on making the guitar sing.

Solo starts at 3:05 if you wish to forward to his 7 and a half minute solo at the US83 festival in California.
