WTT aquarium for more stereo stuff
« on: January 08, 2010, 11:04:59 AM »
nope... not a joke.
I have a 75gal aquarium that i've been thinking about getting rid of for a couple reasons. One, it doesn't get the attention it needs. Two, it's in my listening room and it makes too much noise. Three, I need more room for my expanding stereo.
The tank is nice and complete (except it needs new power heads) and comes with a stand. I even have a couple fish if wanted (an oscar and a silver dollar).
I'm not in a huge hurry to get rid of it... Just thought I'd throw it up and see what kind of response I'd get......
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Here's the best pic I could find. I compressed the hell out of it to fit the forum, but It should give an idea... It's in the left corner of the room.

thanks man! The room's come a long way, but it's still not done. The stereo is very much in it's infant stage....
