Send the videos to the seller.   Perhaps you can do a return or since you seem to be going down the road of repairing it yourself (which is what most of us would do) you could negotiate a partial refund to pay the cost of replacement parts.   Unless you bought it "as-is", then none of this should be a surprise.

Ok, I did that, and she wrote back, saying she filed a claim with the post office to get a reimbersement to fix the sub, but she will need an invoice for the cost of the repairs... I was wondering if MR OCCD could make one of those for the driver... and if the humming is truly indicative of the capacitors going out? if so does that need to be fixed as well? either way, seems I need to get her an invoice in order to get it fixed.

I would think that Mr OCCD would have to sell you the driver in order for you to get a receipt.   Or he would have to see the sub to give you an estimate.
