I saw a big curved screen tv at Sams that was supposed to be hi-res but the color looked so fake on it.
My 1984 Sony Profeel looks alot better.

A lot of that can be due to set up.

agree - the stores set TVs up in "torch mode" - you have to find a remote and set them to cinema to get a remote idea of what normal would look like.

Here are a couple of moderately crappy pictures of the new HT room.

The first was taken standing in the entry door looking towards where the screen will be mounted.

The second is looking back towards the room entry door.

Yes Carl, we prewired it for 7.2 HT.
