what if you just cut the bristles on your brush so they are shorter?

I was going to try using a paint pad. Reviews of using them to clean have all been positive.
a bunch of nice sounding stuff. Nice that I'm finally able to actually listen to file music for the first time...

Let me know how that goes.   I thought they would grab a lot more and my arthritic hands wouldn't be able to spin the platter against them.

Sound-wise no complaints on what I heard - it sounded good.  But I did not really pay attention during the before and after you described.   I agree that is the bottom line important outcome.
