Spatial Audio M3 Turbo loudspeakers
There is HUGE caveat to what you are about to read. These speakers get better as they are played. Most of the current users have noticed improvement up thru 200 hours and possibly longer.
My speakers have less than 1 hour on them.
Clayton Shaw and his team at Spatial Audio have graciously extended their return policy to 60 days to help owners get enough hours on them to make an informed decision about the Hologram speaker line.
All I can say is DAMN!!!! I listened to Jennifer Warnes 'Famous Blue Raincoat' CD and Little River Band's 'Time Exposure' LP and both sounded really good if a bit forward. Now do not take that out of context. I bought my Grado cart to get my TT rig a little more forward, so until we have enough hours on them I AM NOT concerned, shit that's just a tube roll away and I'm already getting seriously fine tuneage.
Sherry's taking a nap before work but what little I did get while listening is quite good. Soundstaging is good and so is the depth of the stage. Bass...well there might be a couple of subs for sale, it's that good. Colour me impressed.
