I need a fuse!
« on: March 09, 2017, 07:51:50 AM »
Since Radio Shack is closed, does anybody have a suggestion where I could find a slow blow fuse?  I need a 1 amp, 250V, 5 X 20mm fuse.  Suggestions are welcome.

Thanks Ron!  Do they have a location in the Monroeville Industrial Park?

I think Home Depot or Lowes would have them.

I think there is still a Sat Shack store Downtown.  If they have it and can get it and mail it to you

HA!  I got lucky!  The Radio Shack in Cranberry was still open!  They were supposed to be closed yesterday.  The guy was cleaning out the drawers to ship all the piece parts somewhere.  Sure enough I looked in the fuse drawer and they had packs of four selling for 70% off!  I also bought a 64 GB microSD card with SD adapter for about $20.

Thanks to everyone for your support!

I was going to say that but I didn't know if they had 120v or just 12v.

Good point STaL.  I can't remember what they had voltage wise.  I was looking for some power supply fuses IIRC.

Actually a high percentage of fuses at auto zone are specified as higher voltages.
