Thanks to nick (non-prophet) for helping me out and making a deal on a pair of paradigm atom v2 bookshelf speakers. My brother is in the beginning stages of audio addiction so I am helping him put together his first decent system. I paired them with a paradigm PDR-8 sub that I lent him. Rev and I did a driver swap on it and upgraded to a beefy JL driver. The atoms sit atom some rugged but functional B&W stands that nick was cool enough to throw in, a coat of paint and they'll be great. I also brought down a crate of Neil young, Pink Floyd, Willie, Sam Cooke, lynard skynyrd, WAylon, jefferson airplane, doobie bros, ext ext to get him spinning. He's currently using a low wattage Cambridge audio amp with hpm-60 spkrs. How will that paradigm 2.1 stand up to classic pioneers? Well , We were rushed off from his wife to go to in laws before we could demo, but are supposed to meet back up. Will report back on the spin session.
