Infinity RS4b and Technics SB-6060
« on: March 13, 2019, 09:57:55 AM »
I suspect none of you gentlemen would be interested but I am selling a pair of solid, older speakers in good shape (Infinity RS4b ($300) and a pair of Technics SB-6060s ($250)), if they don't sell in a week or two I'm going to part them out.... had my fun listening to them, but they take up too much room.  I would prefer they go to good homes rather than disappear forever, but unfortunately they are worth more than I'm asking for parts alone and that is an available option.

Holler at me if interested, I can take some pics as/if needed.  Both are in overall good -and completely functional electronically!- shape, neither mint nor terrible.
preamp: BAT VK-5
amp: Altec 944sa
DAC:  Bel Canto 2.5
CDP: Pioneer Elite DV-47a
Intel NUC server / iFi micro iUSB3.0 / Roon
Spendor FL9

I wish I had room for the Technics.   It's a shame to see them get parted out.   IIRC our buddy Elijah is a fan too.

This pair came from Elijah.  They are great sounding speakers, but can't compete with the Dunlavys and are simply to large, relatively fragile with the frame around the mid and tweeter, and you can't stack them.

I hate to part them out but they've been on CL, were on eBay, and have been on USAudioMart (for months) and I've garnered zero interest.  With a little extra time spent I should be able to gross 400+ on parts.  So it goes; the up side is that someone else has a non-working pair that they'd love to have up and running again and these parts are the key... an electronic organ donor as it were

I understand, I just wish I were in a position to give them a home.
