My condolences.

A friend of the family is still recovering from this. He woke up one morning and couldn't put pressure on his foot. Cost him a couple toes, a month of IV antibiotics and another month of oral antibiotics and a summer in a walking boot. His initial prognosis was pretty grim, he was lucky to get through it.

Thanks for all the kind words, guys.  It has been rough on my mom, losing her first sibling. My mom is the oldest of five at 92. My aunt was 77. 

And I am taking my mom to the funeral mass today of one of her card club friends she has known after high school.
