New turntable base!

Worked with my Uncle a few weeks back, and finally finished the project last weekend.  It came out pretty good if I do say so myself.  Nice-sounding TT...

looks good!
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

That BSR TT  (with Fisher name plate) is a nice addition...  Looks like there is a Pickering cartridge on it?

Pickering, yes.

Thanks for the kind words everybody.  Was probably kind of silly to put that kind of effort into a $2.95 turntable, but it was a fun project, and it looks/sounds good.  I'm happy!   8)
