Greetings Tom!

Rumour has it that you have some Scott and Mac gear and enjoy R2R.  A voice whispered into my ear!

Carl

I have a scott 222c and 299C  and yes I am always looking for cool reel to reel pre recorded stuff.

Thanks Ian also.

Good stuff!

I've got a Scott 222B integrated which is very nice.  I also have a matching set of Scott chocolate face kits, the LT-110 tuner and the LK-72 integrated.  The LK-72 is the version that has the 7591 tubes.  I'm rolling tape with a Pioneer RT-707 and a Teac X-2000.  I'll get a few pic's up later.

Welcome to the Forum!

Still trying to figure this s**t out--never been good on chat lines or message boards. Computer geek that still believes the internet is for looking stuff up, the phone is for calling people with a question.

Glad to be on board (finally)! Hope to post some photos and detailed descriptions of my "toys" soon. I have a beautiful vintage home audio system from the 80's that I adore, but don't use (Krell, Linn Sondek, Infinity RS-1, Nakamichi, Denon, Carver). I also DJ and run sound for bands, so I predominantly use a lot of commercial equipment (Mackie, Carver, BBE, dBx, Alesis, Peavey, Harbinger, Crown). A lot of the young guys laugh at me because it takes a dolly to move every rack that I own, but when push comes to shove, you still buy amplification by the pound (6-Carver PM-950, 4-Carver PM-1200, Carver PX-1450, Carver PXm-900---all of the PM series strapped to mono into 4 or 2 ohm loads), so plug that into your ultra light weight high tech amp and smoke it!

Just one quick plug for a friend of mine @ rackfans.com--he's got all of the cooling solutions to protect all of our good stuff. Don't see what you need on the website? He'll fabricate anything--does a great job at a reasonable price. After all, heat is our worst enemy.
