HR-875 remote control needed

 Hello I have a Hr-875 Carver receiver that I need a remote for. does anyone know of a suitable replacement. I am cheap.

1 800 Remotes says that it is an RH-87.

They have them in stock and go for $129 plus shipping.  I think OCCD can find you one for less than that.

Well....I just got the Carver Winter/Spring '94 catalog and the remote listed is an RC-5.

So I don't know if that other remote will work or if the just changed the name.  We will have to wait and see.

Only one way to find out... ;) I am unaware of any Carver remote with the RC designation. The RH-5 is non pro logic.

I scored a karma off of the Polk site were a member had the '94 catalog.  It says it come with a "Pre-programmed RC-5 remote control".

I will bring the catalog down on Saturday for you to look at if you don't already have one. :o

60 remotes came in today.  More coming next month. Damn, they are hard to find. :'(
