Yes, I ment the color. Very few people refinish the wood panels. Mine are the stock oak color. Though I don't think I will change mine because it will match well in the room they will be moving into.
The original owner who I bought these from had refinished them (actually just stained over the oak) to match his living room. He confessed to me he probably never even put 100 hours on them & they hardly even used the room~
They had the UGLY galvanized metal ribbon panels & my fiance` painted them black to match the rest of the speaker. I took a permanent marker & painted in the cardboard-colored port tube so it blended in better, too. I prefer them "naked" to having the foam...
