I am currently listening to 'This is the picture', the final track on the Peter Gabriel CD 'So".
I am listening to the Sonance 260 that I got from Nick.  I have my Rotel RX855 as a preamp feeding into the Sonance and the bass and guitar are really popping at moderately low volume.   Putting on some Miles next, maybe 'Friday Night at the Blackhawk', in mono,

I am currently listening to Jefferson Airplane's Volunteers on reel to reel tape. I had borrowed it from a friend in my college dorm that had just bought it. I recorded it onto Scotch 150 in December 1974. I'm playing it on my ReVox B77 that I got from Tom. Pepé just replaced all of the Fraco caps in it and now it really sounds awesome. Not only does it sound so much better but before he recapped it the left channel would crap out after about twenty minutes. No more. Since I got it back from him about a week ago I've played it every night for several hours without a hiccup.

Next up, my ReVox A77mk4 needs some love!

Anybody else have "seasonal" LP's?  Plan on spinning some Halloween albums this weekend/Monday?  I just moved to a neighborhood that is trick-or-treat friendly, so my GF and I made some Jack-o-Lanterns and hung up a couple decorations last night.  Now to just sit and wait to drop the needle on THIS guy.  I know someone has a Monster Mash 45  >:D

I don't have any Halloween type songs (except maybe Thriller), but I do have a cassette of sound effects I play every year.  The little kids get spooked.

I have "Witches' Brew" an RCA shaded dog collection of classical pieces performed by The New Symphony Orchestra of London conducted by Alexander Gibson. 

I also have "Bitches Brew" by Miles Davis which is scary to listen to any time of year!

I just saw a clean original copy of bitches brew for sale at a local record store, but I passed on it because I didn't know much about it. I May go grab it

King Crimson, In The Court Of The Crimson King, alas on CD, my only other Greg Lake stuff is the 3 LP set of ELP a couple cassettes I just picked up a couple months ago and an 8 track tape from back in the day. Saw him live many years ago, after the ELP breakup at the Stanley Theater.  RIP.
