Rainman off the Carver forum asked me if I had ever listened to Tom Emmanuel. I told him no. He said to check him out. I couldn't find much to download except samples of his music. I then turned on the tube...ZAP...ETV...hour long concert by this guy...verdict is still out. He is a very talented guy...1 man band.

I found a Tommy Emmanuel on Rhapsody.  Playing album Can't Get Enough.  Pretty good so far.

Listening to Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction (reissue on 180gram vinyl)  Found it at Worse Buy for $15.  Teenager working the register asked me what it was and couldn't believe they sold records.

Yep.....sammy hagar, michael anthony - former van halen bassit, joe satriani, and chad - red hot chili peppers drummer.


Previewed them on Amazon.com but was not impressed during a quick listen......but I judge a band first on the vocals, then on the other musicians.
Yea!!! What could Sammy Hagar know about singing anyway???

Chickenfoot's not bad.  I really like the one power ballad (track 8 or 9 I think).

 The Frank Cunimondo Trio - Echoes LP
 Fantastic Pittsburgh Jazz from the 70's (I think)

 After this LP I'm going to change things up a bit and listen to some Kraftwerk.
