I got tired of looking for the pricey original so I gave it and got the 2016 reissue on an Import CD 20% off sale. It sounds fine to me even though some of the Discogs comments panned it.

Stones Tattoo You

Playing a rough copy that I listed cheap.   This is actually a better album than I had remembered.   Little T&A was such a Spinal Tap track that I never took the album seriously, but it actually has quite a few strong spots.   It's also amazing how decent beat up vinyl can sound sometimes.

Natalie Merchant - Tigerlily

I finally got a hold of the vinyl.   I've read so many rave reviews that maybe my expectations were a bit too high.   It's very clear and articulate, but I would like a little more slam on the kick drum.

Billy Bragg and Wilco - Mermaid Avenue

It seems that out of nowhere some copies of the 2013 vinyl showed up in a warehouse.   I've almost bought this for $80 more than once.   I was thrilled to get it from Plaid Room for $35 new.

Joe Pass - For Django (BN Tone Poet series).

I had a few of Joe's comeback albums, but never any of the recordings he made as a young man. This is sublime.

That's one I bought at Heads Together way back.  Blue Note reissue series in the mid 70s.

As an aside,  those receipts from Tone Poet and other higher priced purchases might be helpful in the future.....
