Frou Frou "Details" via a Marantz SC-80 preamp that looks strikingly similar to one that just went missing from the shop  :o   3:)
When I die I hope my wife doesn't sell my stuff for what I told her I paid for it.

Marantz SA15S2/Rega P3, Parasound P3, Parasound A21, Monitor Audio RS6

One of my all time favorite singers died this week.
Phoebe Snow.

She is a truly special talent.  She sings in the style of the low light Blues women, but does it better than all.  She is not as famous as some because she cut her career to care for her "special" daughter.

Few have or will ever sing like Phoebe Snow.
I advise a dark room with candles.  If you can lure or dope a girl in, that would be a plus. If not, Phoebe will be enough.

Went to the Record Show at the Radisson in Greentree today.

If you pay extra, you can get in one hour before the opening to the ‘general public’.

They got me the first time with that scam. Never again!

Today was a bit disappointing to be honest. I did see an original pressing of the “Doors” Soft Parade but its condition did not justify the $20 asking price, IMHFO.

Still, I ended up dropping $29 on the few I could find just to validate my efforts.

I’m cleaning them now with hope that their sound quality is as good as their surface condition appears.

Jerry's has me so spoiled.

I need to get over to Eides, never been there yet.
