Pepe, I'd be curious to compare that to an RL first pressing.   I literally don't see how it could be any better.

My 50% coupon score today.   I loved Southeastern and this may be even better.   Plus the vinyl is nearly silent, a nice attribute for largely acoustic music.

The Angry Young Them (Van Morrison's first band, for those uninitiated).   Yesterday's 40% off coupon score.   Vinyl not so quiet, but may respond to cleaning.   I don't generally clean new ones unless they seem to need it.

My 50% off day was pretty much a fail, store was picked over good. I eyed this up for awhile to flip. It was $135 for months then dropped to 100. Oh well, got a Buddy Holly and the Crickets 10" instead.

I picked this up a couple of weeks back.  Great album!  I have only heard one or two songs from Southeastern.  I would like to hear more.

WQED's Sunday morning baroque program, with coffee and newspaper.

Crap. I would have enjoyed that? Where do you find schedules for what they're planning. I often listen to WQED HD-1 and HD-2 and would love to have schedules.

Thx

Here you go: http://www.wqed.org/fm/fm_grid.php

@geoffr. If you click on "radio tab" at the top you'll notice in the pull down tabs one that says "Pittsburgh Symphony Radio". This would be WQED HD-2 (89.3 HD-2). Wonderful programming off the PSO. 89.3 HD-1 is the same as standard WQED broadcasting. HD stands for hybrid digital, not high definition and does require a special "HD" tuner. I have one of these tuners in my living room, bedroom and spare bedroom. Many other stations also broadcast HD. In fact some stations broadcast several. Basically it's digital data broadcast as a sub carrier to the analog signal. WESA HD-2 (90.5 HD-2) formerly owned by Duquesne university, has truly awesome jazz programming. STaL got me started on the HD stations and I really appreciate it. I even have 2 small receivers that fit in a pocket and require headphones or IEMs. And I have a portable battery operated unit with two speaker. This one is real flexible as it picks up all the radio stations, AM/FM standard and HD, plus it has an aux input that I can plug my iPhone iPod or iPad into. It always goes with me for chemo treatments and to the pool in a zip lock baggie.
